Martin completed his studies in 1989 in Gießen as Dipl. Ing. Biomedical Engineering. After his studies, he worked for 5 years in the planning and construction of automation systems for the pharmaceutical industry, and since 1995 he has worked in various positions in medical technology. Martin worked for 14 years in the CRM field at Guidant and Boston Scientific. In addition, he moved to several start-up companies from the mitral and aortic valve area. In 2009, he worked in MitraClip Therapy for Evalve (later Abbott Vascular), in 2013, Direct Flow Medical (TAVI) and from 2015 to 2017 Valtechcardio (later Edwards Lifescience) with the Cardioband. For Martin, the special appeal of working in start-up companies is to develop new products into successful therapies with experienced, passionate and highly efficient medical professionals.

For more than 20 years, Andreas, Dipl.-Ing. and CEO, has worked in various positions in the field of biomedical engineering. He has held positions at the following companies: Universal Robot Systems, Guidant, Boston Scientific, Evalve, Abbott Vascular, Direct Flow Medical, Valtech Cardio, and most recently, Edwards Lifesciences. His talent for start-ups developed through the introduction of neuromodulation at BSC and became an integral part of his professional passion with the launch of MitraClip as the first employee at Evalve in Germany. After years as Regional Manager for the MitraClip team (then at Abbott Vascular), Andreas founded and led the German team of Direct Flow Medical GmbH before leading the Valtech Cardio GmbH until the successful exit to Edwards Lifesciences.
